Meet Moss!

The Four-Legged Founder

On a whim, we brought Moss home from the Hayfield Sheepdog Trials in 2016, and he quickly made it clear he was top dog.

Tractors? No problem. Rounding up sheep and cows? Easy as bale. Basically, if it happened on the farm, Moss had to be involved. He’s the pioneer, the trailblazer, the one who set the standard… and now he has to put up with three sisters and two brothers who think they’re just as important.

Somehow, he still manages to run the roost, keep his tail wagging, and make sure everyone knows who’s really the big cheese of the farm yard.

Finding Your Way to
Moss' Meadow

To get to Moss' Meadow, go under the railway bridge at the start of Hayfield Rod and take the first right after the bridge. If your coming from Hayfield, take the last left before the railway bridge. Follow the road round to the left & up through New Smithy. The SK23 6AP postcode should take you to Hull Farm. The dog paddock is just passed the farm, to the right of the cross roads.

The road is single track & is rural so please take care when driving here as livestock, children and other cars may be on the road.
