
Rules of Moss' Meadow

Before you Book

Payment: Pay via credit/debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay through our website

Bookings: Must be made at least 30 minutes before start of session.

Working Farm Environment: Our paddock is located on a working farm, surrounded by neighbouring working farms. Livestock may be present in surrounding fields all year round. Please ensure your dogs remain securely contained within the paddock at all times and do not allow them to worry or approach livestock.

Cancellations & Amendments:

Late arrivals cannot extend sessions; refunds are not given.

Amend or reschedule up to 12 hours before via the “Manage My Bookings” tab on our website.

Changes or cancellations are not allowed within 12 hours of your booking. Please contact us if you which to make a cancellation.

Rescheduling in Extreme Weather:

During heatwaves, heavy rain, ice, or snow, the amendment window may extend up to 2 hours before your booking.

Refunds are only offered in exceptional or unforeseen circumstances.

Parking: On-site parking is at your own risk. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage.

Maximum Dogs per Booking: 4 dogs. Dog walkers - please contact us for more details!

Vaccinations & Flea Treatment: All visiting dogs should be up to date with vaccinations and flea treatments.

Collars & ID Tags: Dogs must wear a collar or harness with ID at all times. Choke chains, prong collars, or similar devices are not allowed.

Conduct: Verbal or physical abuse towards staff, dogs or other customers will not be tolerated.
Arriving & Leaving

Arrival Timing: Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your booking. Many of our customers have nervous or reactive dogs, and early arrivals may disturb their session.

Entering the Field:

Wait until the previous customer has exited the secure car park, field, or all-weather arena.

Only then drive in and close the gate behind you before letting your dog(s) out or walking them on a lead into the field.

End of Session:
-
Allow 5–10 minutes (depending on how many dogs you have) to get your dog(s) back into your vehicle and exit the area so the next customer can enter on time.

If a previous customer is late exiting and it impacts your session, email please get in touch with us. Please do not extend your session to make up for lost time, as this affects other customers.

Field Etiquette: Do not enter the field if the previous customer is still inside.

Dog Safety:
-
Dogs must remain in your vehicle until the previous customer has exited the secure area.

Dogs must be on a lead at all times when outside the secure field, including in the car park areas where applicable.

While Enjoying the Paddock
-
Responsibility: You are fully responsible for any dogs you bring with you.

Supervision: Do not leave your dog(s) unattended at any time while in the field.

Consideration for Neighbours: Please be mindful of our neighbours — avoid shouting and do not allow excessive barking.

Protecting the Field & Equipment:

Do not allow dogs to dig holes or damage equipment.

If any damage occurs, please email details to info@thedogspaddocks.co.uk so our rangers or maintenance team can attend promptly.

Cleaning Up:

Please pick up after your dog(s). Free poo bags are available on the perimeter fencing.

Dispose of used bags in the specialist bins provided.

Suitable Clothing: Wear appropriate clothing and footwear at all times, particularly during wet weather when the ground may be muddy and slippery.

Food & Smoking:

No smoking in the field.
-
Do not bring human or dog food into the field, except small treats for training purposes.

Do not leave treats behind.
-

Litter: Please do not leave cigarette ends, broken toys, poo bags, or any other litter in the field.

Disclaimers

Suitability of the Site: You must inspect the paddock before use to ensure it is suitable for you and your dog(s). If you have any concerns about safety or suitability, please do not enter.

Responsibility for Dogs: You are fully responsible for the actions and behaviour of your dog(s) at all times.

Liability for Damage or Injury Caused: You accept responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage caused by your dog(s) while on site.

Limitation of Liability: Moss' Meadow Dog Paddock accept no responsibility for:

Injury or damage caused by your dog(s).
-
Injury to you or your dog(s) while using the facilities.
-

Personal Safety: You are responsible for your own safety and the safety and welfare of your dog(s) at all times.

Fencing & Security: Our paddock is enclosed with fencing of varying heights. While reasonable steps have been taken to provide secure areas, we cannot guarantee they are completely escape-proof. Moss' Meadow Dog Paddock is not responsible for any escapees.

Lost Property: Any items found by our staff or customers will be placed in the Lost Property box. If you believe you have left something behind, please contact us. Items will be held for a few weeks before being disposed of or donated to a local dog charity, as appropriate.
